Proving determination and stamina, approximately 40,000 athletes from all over the world push themselves to the limit for the 42.2 kilometres (26.2 miles) of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, part of the elite Abbott World Marathon Majors. Held annually in September, the race fascinates over 1 million enthusiastic spectators.

Berlin’s elite sports event

Appealing to world record-setting athletes, the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON offers exposure and engagement with both participants and fans. Led by BMW as Title Sponsor, there are four further sponsorship levels to take advantage of the event’s positive image and festival atmosphere. Branding opportunities are offered along the course, start and finish with promotional stands for product placement also available at the start line.

With over 24+ cameras mounted on vehicles, including a helicopter, lead car and escort motorcycles, dynamic, HD coverage from all angles is ensured. A high-level world feed as well as news clips are produced and available for worldwide distribution. Event coverage is broadcast into over 160 territories following Infront's move to a territory-by-territory based sales approach reaching cumulative audiences on TV of up to 396 million. An active online community keeps digital engagement levels high with 2.7 page views, 550,000 unique website visits.
